BNC PHYSIO AND SPORTS (BNC) tie up with Singapore National Cricket Teams

Following the successful pilot athlete training of the national cricket team at BNC Physio & Sports, (BNC) prior to the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division 5 tournament in February 2012, the successful support during the WCL Division 4 in September 2012, and the recently concluded Asian cricket council Challenge trophy in Thailand, SCA has now selected BNC as the official physiotherapy and fitness training partner.

The decision to use BNC above other services was the unique strengthening and rehabilitation protocols using MedX equipment, along with the depth of understanding the staff have for cricket.  MedX is a scientifically based medical exercise system, which is the world’s most technically advanced functional enhancement and rehabilitation equipment. It is the only system that can quantitatively measure spine strength and then train athletes against set “norms”.

“We are glad to have BNC as our official Physiotherapy and Training Partner for our Men’s and Women’s national team. This partnership will immensely benefit our national players in maintaining their fitness levels and ensure injuries are treated on time and ensure recovery time from such injuries will be smoother and faster” said Mr Prakash Vijaykumar, CEO of Singapore Cricket Association on this partnership.

BNC Physio & Sports was established in 1997 and provides a unique range of treatment solutions for all muscular and skeletal disorders of the body.  It remains the only centre in the Asia Pacific that offers the complete MedX Spinal Evaluation programme in the management of chronic back and neck pain. The centre offers a complete range of physiotherapy services alongside fitness, performance enhancement and prevention of sports injuries.
