SCA is committed to developing the cricket environment in Singapore with a focus on providing an inclusive landscape for all stakeholders of cricket to grow and thrive.

Major Growth Drivers

  • installing floodlights at Singapore Indian Association to mitigate and minimise the impact of losing the Kallang cricket ground
  • recommending the SCA Academy at SCA enclosed facility at Singapore Indian Association
  • conducting community outreach programmes, carnivals, talent hunts at schools and open houses
  • conducting ICC & ACC coach qualification courses, scoring courses and umpiring courses
  • youth development: T10 emerging player series
  • senior cricket development: elite player series & peace xi tours and international bilateral & multilateral series for men and women teams
  • ICC World T20 Asia qualifier hosted successfully in Singapore
  • EPS 2018 and 2019 with players from over 12 foreign countries
  • using online webinars and knowledge sharing during covid19 downtime
  • SCA T10 League – franchise-based T10 cricket league organized by SCA in Singapore

Major Achievements (2015-2020)

  • Singapore won Gold in T20 format and Silver in 50 over format in the 2017 SEA games
  • meritorious award from Singapore national Olympic council
  • won the ACC Asia cup 2020 regional qualifier in Thailand in March 2020
  • champions of ICC T20 World Cup Asia qualifiers in 2019 without losing a single match and qualified for the ICC global T20 world cup qualifiers for the first time
  • the highest ever T20i world ranking of 20
  • beating test playing nation Zimbabwe(11th ranked), 12th ranked Nepal and 13th ranked Scotland in T20 internationals in 2019
  • champions of Stan Nagaiah Trophy 2019 beating Malaysia 3-0
  • successfully hosted an international T20 tri-series between Singapore, Nepal and Zimbabwe in Singapore in 2019
  • joint champions of ICC CWC Division 1 tournament in Malaysia alongside Canada in 2019
  • retained our position in ICC WCL Division 3 in Oman in 2018
  • a record of 7 unbeaten run against Malaysia without losing a single game
