The Singapore U-19 team took part in the ACC U-19 ELITE CUP in February 2011. The elite cup was a ten team tournament held in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand which included the following countries: Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Qatar, Nepal, Malaysia, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal and Singapore.

This was a tournament where our boys were highly rated to finish among the top 3. Unfortunately, some elementary lapses and a run of bad luck resulted in a well below outing. Be that as it may, it was heartening to see the strong camaraderie amongst the young boys and their strong desire to make up for their performance in future tournaments.
